King Khalid International Airport is located 35 km from the city of Riyadh. There are 5 terminals at the airport, 3 of which are being used. Terminals 1 – 4 are in the shape of a triangle while Terminal 5 is in the shape of a rectangle.
The passengers can find all the amenities usually offered by major airports: VIP lounges, restaurants, cafes, hotels, car rentals, banks and first aid stations. There is a mosque as well. Gardens and fountains constitute a decoration at the airport’s open space area. The ceremonial hall is 12,5 meters wide and 390 meters long. It is connected with a mosque. Guests coming to the Pavilion can use air bridges or elevators leading to the car park.
